To provide the practical insights on ‘Income Tax’, a Special Session was organized in Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management on 11th January 2019. The resource person was Ms. Bhavna Singh, Joint Commissioner, Income Tax Department along with Mr. Akhilesh Rai and Vishal Dharmadhikari from her department. Floral welcome of guests was done by Shri Hero Gyanchandani Ji, Managing Director of the institute; Shri A. C. Sadhwani Ji, Secretary; Dr. Charanjit Kaur, Principal Sant Hirdaram Girls College and Dr. Ashish Thakur, Director Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management. Income tax procedure was explained effectively in details with roles and responsibilities of the department. At the end, queries of students were answered by the officials
