At Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management (SHIM), we believe that management education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. Keeping this vision in focus, our MBA-III and Integrated MBA-III students recently had the opportunity to visit HEG Ltd., one of the leading global players in graphite electrode manufacturing.
The industrial visit offered students a closer look at large-scale industrial operations, supply chain management, and advanced manufacturing practices. Witnessing the systematic functioning of such a vast industry allowed our students to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications, enriching their managerial perspective.
From understanding the complexities of supply chain dynamics to observing cutting-edge technology in action, the visit was an inspiring experience. It encouraged students to think innovatively and broaden their outlook on how modern industries function in today’s competitive business environment.
